On this page, you will find our list of volunteer events. We run many projects throughout the year to benefit our school and the education of our students. From fundraisers to celebrating ECHS Staff to the prom, it all happens through the PTSA!

Volunteering in the Community
2024 ECHS/CHE Spring Carnival Volunteer Sign Up
On April 19th, 2024, Early College High School and Caldwell Heights Elementary will be hosting their first annual Spring Carnival! As always, we need your help to make it possible!
All Volunteers will receive 5 free Whataburger raffle tickets!
Upon arriving at the carnival, check in at the volunteer booth to receive your lanyard and be assigned to your station. At the end of your shift, remain at your booth until the next volunteer comes to switch with you, then report to the volunteer booth to mark the end of your shift.
DO NOT sign up for more than one consecutive shift! We want you to have time to enjoy the carnival!
All Adult Volunteers MUST Complete the RRISD Volunteer Application: District requirement since you will be interacting with students.
All Volunteers for the sensory-friendly carnival MUST complete one of the April 12th training sessions with Ms. Foerster and pass the Google form quiz.
Herrington Elementary Carnival
Herrington Elementary PTA need high school student to help with their carnival on April 6th. Volunteers are needed between 10:30am-2:30pm. Any interested students should email Jennifer Yates.
Old Town Elementary Carnival
OTE PTA's annual spring carnival is next Friday, April 12th from 4:30pm-7:30pm.
***We have a number of student volunteer positions available especially for the 6:30-7:30pm slot, which is the 4th shift.
Students can earn volunteer hours at this event, they need to bring the form with them to fill out and we will sign it when they have completed their shifts.
Volunteering at the RRISD Clothes Closet at Voigt Elementary!!
Come volunteer at the RRISD Clothes Closet!!
Come help sort, organize, and keep our clothing racks stocked and ready as PTAs get up and running for the year.
All Clothes Closet Volunteers must have completed the RRISD Volunteer Application as well prior to the shift they sign up for. Thank you!
