Welcome to October! A huge thank you to everyone who supported our recent fundraisers—we raised over $140 from Panda Express to help cover Homecoming costs, and Fairy Freeze raised $170 to support ECHS PTSA programs! It was wonderful connecting with our school families, and we appreciate your continued involvement.
We have another action-packed month ahead with several important updates:
VATRE (Prop A) Endorsement: Round Rock ISD teachers and staff show up for our students every single day. The Early College High School PTSA, alongside the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs, endorses Prop A to support fair pay for the dedicated educators and staff in our district. Make your voice heard at the ballot box this fall!
Voter Information: We encourage all eligible voters to research ballot issues using nonpartisan resources such as VOTE411 from the League of Women Voters.

Razzoo's Spirit Night: We have another spirit night coming up this week at Razzoo's! Details are provided below.
Club Grants: We have officially kicked off our Club Grants application process! The deadline for submissions is November 1st.
National PTA Reflections Contest: Our Reflections contest is under way, with an end-of-October deadline! Students are encouraged to showcase their creativity across 6 distinct categories based on this year’s theme, "What My Culture Means to Me."

The ECHS PTSA is excited to announce this year’s National PTA Reflections contest theme, "What My Culture Means to Me."
The contest is open to all ECHS students who have at least one ECHS PTSA member in their household, with a final entry deadline of October 30, 2026.
Students are invited to submit original artwork in Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.

October 23, 2026 at our own ECHS Campus! This year's event will be held in our own building! We plan on making the place look unrecognizable - don't worry! The dance will be from 6-9pm.

In-Person Lunch Sales: Purchase in person during lunch on Oct. 7, Oct. 14, Oct. 21, and Oct. 23.
Ticket Pickup: Pick up your physical tickets on Friday, October 23rd in the Commons during lunch.
Permission Slips: The ECHS PTSA will email a link to the permission slip to the email address provided at checkout. Links to permission slips can also be found on the Homecoming page on our website.

Tuesday: Twinning Tuesday! Pair up with your bestie, sibling, or teacher.
Wednesday: Anything But a Backpack! Leave your backpack at home and bring your books in something creative.
Thursday: Dress Your Age! Freshmen dress as toddlers, Sophomores as teenagers, Juniors as adults, Seniors as senior citizens, and Teachers as zombies!
Friday: Fancy Friday & Homecoming Dance! Get cozy in your pajamas and PTSA spirit wear!

We’re looking for volunteers to host a decorated trunk or lend a hand with event setup, cleanup, and activity stations. Whether you can host a vehicle or give an hour of your time, your support makes a huge difference for our students.

Mark your calendars! Deerpark Middle School is hitting the trail on Saturday, November 7th (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM) at the beautiful Rattan Creek Park & Community Center, and we need your help to make our 15th year the best one yet!
This beloved tradition brings together our entire community—DMS families, our five feeder elementary schools, McNeil High School, and friends. With 400+ runners expected, volunteers are essential to making the magic happen. Set-up begins at 7:00 AM.
Best of all, 100% of funds raised go directly to supporting DMS teachers, staff, and students. 💙💚
